closed lo0p, yea, its another one
Am going to use a Quiet1 model 4000 for a closed lo0p on my 75gal.
I am curious as to what diameter inlet and outlet piping would be best? I picked up the pump used, was being used as a return pump from sump. Its got some 1" plumbing on it currently. Would 1" be the best way to go? Gonna set it up as is now and add a oceansmitions unit later on when I can get some cash. Can someone maybe take a few pics of theirs so I can design my plumbing so addition of teh squirt is plug n play? It would be greatly appreciated. |

I used 1 ¼” piping at the pump. This is a picture of mine before I upgraded to a Pan World 50PX-X.
More pics if you click my red house. Jay

No. I used 1¼” as far as I could then reduced to 1” for the line around the perimeter of the tank. Jay
