Aqua Lifter. How many feet can it really be used?
I need to run about 8 feet, 3 over and 5 up. Will this pump do it?

I doubt it.

My top off is ~ 5' up, 5' horizontal. I use two of them in series. Has worked great for over a year now.

I need to push my top off water up about 40". Will one Aqua Lifter get the job done (I know it says it's rated for 30")? If not how would you run two Aqua Lifters in series into a JBJ ATO which only has one plug? Or is it even possible to run them in series into a JBJ ATO?

Run them in series and use a little outlet adaptor to convert one outlet into two.

Thanks. That's what I figured would need to be done but was hoping there was some other magical way of doing it

I use one for my topoff and it runs 5' horizontal, 2' down vertically, 13' horizontal, then 2' up vertically...its a very slow drip, but for top off thats what i was looking for...
BTW ive tested the pump to see how high it can push vertically and i found it to max out at 42''.... |

I have mine pushing my DIY denitrator and it goes through about 70 feet of RO tubing but this all in a tube next to my tank not going up against gravity or anything.
You will not have any problems running that distance. |
