Leaking overflow please help.

Hello all I just purchased a turnkey sump/refugium kit off of ebay from aquauniverse and found that the overflow is leaking from the back corner. It is just a steady drip. Any advice on how to fix? My experience with acrylic is low to none. Do I use aquarium sealant (silicone), or is there some sort of acrylic glue I can buy from say Walmart? I just got all the stuff to start setup on my new 90 gallon reef tank and ran into this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks to all in advance.

Search DIY forum for Weld-on. It is a brand of acrylic cement. Not sure which one would apply to you purpose. Might pose the same question in that forum if search doesnt work. Seem to be many threads on working with acrylic there.

Weldon 16 would be your best solution, but hard to find locally sometimes. Marine GOOP would work, though.

Two part plastic welder can be purchased at wal mart for less than a few dollars. It is with all of the other epoxies and glues by the paint section. It sets up fast and cures hard, but is sloppy.
Did you contact the manufacturer about the leak?

You should hold off doing anything to it until you talk to them. Odds are they will repplace it.
