clowns taking food from nem
i have a mated pair of true percs that live in my h. crispa. the anemone i bought bleached about 8 months ago, and brought it back to a nice healthy color, and even a tank move. its grown, but everytime i feed it my clowns will not rest until they get the food. i even seen them go in the mouth and remove food after i had tried to keep them away as the nem got it in its mouth. so much for that. they are beautiful clowns, but i seem to recal my last pair of t percs doing the same thing to a bta. my question, is there a species of clown less prone to this action? im 2 for 0 at this point. i know ive had clowns in the past that fed the nem, although they were storing food for themselfs im sure, but it worked, i just cant remember what they were. any thoughts or exp. would be nice. thanks

I try to feed my clowns mysis or flake food first before I feed the anemone. Also try to feed your clowns at least twice a day if they are spawning. Mine usually eat a lot before they spawn. Cut up a few small pieces of silversides to feed your nem so it can at least digest one before the clowns get it.
