Blue Hippo Tang Skin disease
Hi,
I'm new to this FOWLR thing and i've got a sick Blue Hippo Tang i believe. She's been scratching her body on rocks for weeks now. I thought that was normal so didn't do anything about it. Now when she swims under the light just right it looks like she's covered with lint. Also there is some spots that can only be described as looking like chipped paint on her nose. I'm getting real concerned as she's been "teasing" our coral banded shrimp. He actually got a hold of her tail today. Seeing as he ate our new clownfish last week i'm a bit worried that she may be sick and will be our shrimp's next meal. Any suggestions? I tried taking pictures but she seems to be camera shy |

i believe she may have ich and with the coral banded shrimp ive actually had the same problem it ate my yellow tang so i took it out becasue the poeple at the pet store thought i was crazy becasue coral banded shrimp are rather docile. this is what you do place a net in the tank where the shrimp mostly is with food inside (meaty foods) preferably frozen prawn or brine shrimp. and wait there for the shrimp to enter it took em about 10 15 mins because the shrimp is kinda samrt and loks around the area for a while and once its in the net pull it out. but pull it out fast dunt hesitate because mine jumped and it jumped fastt lolll. and the tang might have ich thats what i can only think of....
