I assure you that what I am saying is true, but... I used a MJ 1200 magnet to push the big prop.

I don't think the stock K4 magnet would have a chance at pushing anywhere near as big a prop as a MJ 1200. The stock magnet is puny - seems weaker than a MJ 400 magnet.

The one thing I didn't worry about with my experimental mod that you would have to with a permanent one is a stop for when the prop spins in reverse. Should be easy enough to construct, but unless you feel like tinkering with something new you are better off with the tried and true MJ 1200.

If you want to make a MJ mod with some of the koralia goodness try to hunt down a koralia magnet mount (I bet hydor will sell you one). It's not hard to adapt to the MJ 1200 and is much slicker looking, lower profile, and more adjustable than a sure grip magnet.
