Bingo. Whatever it looks like, some corals likely would require regular replacement. Either that, or they're able to maintain corals in this tank that they are quite unique in being able to have thrive long-term.
Lovely, but long-term viable? I dunno, but I'd like to see some time-lapse shots to demonstrate the longevity.
