Thanks for the reply, Alien. The hand-held side of the cleaner magnet hits the recessed wall at the sides, leaving an inch or so of algae around the perimeter of the viewing side of the tank. I tried a magnet cleaner from Oceans Motions that is supposed to avoid this problem, but the results were mixed. I was hoping that someone with a large in-wall might have thought up an imaginative solution to this problem...Joe
