I have had a black volitan lion for about two years now and he is amazing. But last weekend I was messing around in my tank and he was feeling aggressive and stung me. I spent the next three days in the E.R. getting IV antibiotics. If I hadn't received the treatment I could have lost my arm. The medical profession does not know much about the treatment of the venom from this fish. Be careful.
