Does that go into a water bottle? That may work but if it goes inside the neck it would lose some efficiency on the smoothness of the tapered neck to outlet of the jug which is why I was thinking a collection cup outside the existing bottle neck. I guess the only way to see is to go up to HD or Lowes with a bottle and play in the plumbing dept. I would like to come up with a air tight collection cup so an air pressure stop could be made for a scrum bucket.
Is there a ridge inside the water bottle necks? I haven't examined one in a few years so I need to go looking. And if there is, is there enough plastic to sand it smooth?
