Most of the best looking tanks I have seen in person use this product so I decieded to aswell. I have had great success with my first SPS tank(so far) and owe it to the advice from fellow reefers.
Most of those guys have refugiums with the Mud, Nitrate exporters, good skimmers etc.....
I sure you can do very well with or without but I like how it has worked well for me so far (1 year). It seems like the corals are always feeding to me
