I have always felt that theory seemed unfounded.

A large water change would remove no3 and po4 far faster than zeo ever could.

Transplanting a coral from a high/moderate nutrient tank to a low nutrient tank would be even worse.

If fast reduction of po4 and no3 were to blame then a zeo user could not buy corals from a non zeo user.
