Good question. My initial goal was to keep plumbing simple. I thought it would be easy to feed the fuge - low flow - via the skimmer's drain. Based on your feedback, however, it's probably less work to just T-off the tanks' drain or to T-off the return!

Side question: Why does it cost less to order skimmers via online vendors (e.g. SaltyCritter) than to order directly from your website?
