Thanks for the replies, everyone.

Sk8r, I have a 90 gallon tank. Everywhere that I have looked, 70gal is the highest minimum tank size I've seen. When speaking to the guy at the LFS, he said that they were feeding him small meaty foods. He's having fun sifting sand right now, and from the looks of my sand bed there is plenty for him to eat. If I notice that he is not gaining weight, or worse losing it I will take a more aggressive approach to feeding him. For now he is getting whatever is in the sand bed and the cyclopeeze that fall to the bottom during feeding times.

ps: Mr. goby is only about 2" long right now. Also, he has a long spine on his dorsal fin-- I'm assuming this means he is male?
