I have a 210g FOWLR. So far I havnt spent near as much as any of these guys because lighting is a huge part of their budget. I am lucky to be in a great Saltwater markets (Dallas,Houston,Austin,San Antonio) and be a member of a great local club here in San Antonio. Because of this ive saved tons of money. I bought a used 210g Oceanic brick with a custom furniture stand for only $350 in amazing condition!! New would have easily $1500-1700 Heres where im at

115lbs Live Rock $200
200lbs of Sand $25
Canopy $200
Lighting $50
Grand Total only $1525; now if the tank and stand were new the budget would have been more like $3500, Again its a FOWLR
I probably add $50-60 per month on my electric bill and I also have a BC29 reef
