you must have pods or your mandarin would not survive so yes you would do fine getting a leopard wrasse.
I would add pods to your refugium once in awhile to make sure there are plenty. O nce you can see them on glass and such you will be fine.
You can feed mysis frozen shrimp to the wrasse to.
