I just finished testing my water and everything is on target except Mg as it should be. I love this Schuran Jestream 2 as it has kept my alk levels stable for a few months now. I didnt have to use a perstaltic pump either. The flow is consistent.

Water parameters:

S.G.: 1.025
Temp: 79 F
Ca: 520
Alk: 12.5
Mg: 1450 (need to raise this back up to 1500+). It lowered because of the many water changes I made without supplementing Mg as I normally would to the WC.

Im also thinking about dosing limewater in order to purifer the water. This changes the water chemistry, but has anyone used limewater to clean the air from C02 converting it to 02 stabilizing tank PH? I would think this would be helpful at the skimmer level where the air is sucked into the pumps where air collides with water creating a fine water chemical balance.
