I might take you up on the offer to come by and see the setup Chris. I had given some thought to doing this, but the setup of my stairs is a little different. I do have a little room under the stairs but I would have to move my tank so the back would be up against the first run of stairs which are much lower than yours are. The way my stairs are set up the first run goes up to the landing and then the second run goes up to the left from there. My tank is currently sitting under where the second run goes up to the second story. I am not sure how well that would work against the lower first run. The canopy would end up being much higher than the stair railing.

I have been admiring your build all along the way. I hope that mine turns out as well as yours has. With all the good advice from everyone here I am sure that I will be successful.
