Hmmm... For me I do both a quick fresh water dip and a iodine deep for atleast 2-3 minutes with a good swish from side to side. For the egg colonies their a pain in the a$$! I found the easiest way was to lightly inject them (barely) with kalkwasser just like what you would do for aiptasia's. I even do that with nudis I find! I hate them with the passion and love it when the melt with kalk on them ha,ha,ha
