If your damsels are well behaved, I would consider QT'ing them until you're done adding fish to the tank and then adding them last. They can be very territorial, even if they seem well behaved normally in the tank. If they're the devil like everyone else's damsels seem to be, now would be a great time to get rid of them.

I would go SPS dominant if you want the challenge of keeping clean water, lots of flow, and bright lighting. Its definitely worth the benefits IMO.



edit: Also, a sump and big refugium would be a great benefit if you were to add it...
