Sorry bout the timing
but, I think with corner overflows you should be OK as long as they aren't the square type--convex and diagonal corners shouldn't give you trouble in the shade department. Plus I think you made the right decision using two pendants instead of one, you'll be much happier using those two aqua medic pendants! Do you know what bulb your going to be using?
