I have two -- one for 7ish years and the other one for just under a year. I have found that if you have a healthy one to start with they are pretty easy to care for. Think that your lighting will be fine. Mine seem to prefer the rock/sand interface. If you feed them a lot they will grow very fast. In all the time that I've had mine I only lost one fish to them -- about 4 years ago, a yellow watchman goby.

Mine can handle a decent amount of flow -- in an SPS tank, just make sure that it doesn't cause them to fold up over themselves.

Here is a FTS from about 3 months ago. ( taken with a flash, the BTA has been sold, but was in there with them for over a year )
