Never hesitate to PM, even us Mods are generally friendly Also don't worry about stupid questions in here. Most folks in this forum will set you straight in a friendly fashion. Anyone doing serious flaming will usually find themselves on the wrong side of the ban button

BTW the plus side of a 40 hour week usually happens around midnight or later when some pump or heater malfunctions and I get that emergency call from the monitoring system

As for shrimp, Louis has a thread in this forum on his attempts at wurdmanni. The most up to date and informative info on Lysmata I know of. debelius would certainly be interesting, but I'm afraid I'm short on personal time to tackle that sort of undertaking. Last shrimp I've tried myself was Stenopus hispidus several years back, though not with any more success than anyone else at that time. Like the Lysmata, just too many finicky larval stages and problems with final settlement.

BTW in my photo gallery are a few shots of my lab.
