I do have some questions though. Why did you decide to ahve so little space open at the top of the tank? From the dimensions you have in the CAD picture, it seems the openings are relatively small and constricting. It is a large tank, however, it may prove to be a challenge to keep the top cool so it doesn't crack if using a lot of halides to light up the tank.

It will be an open top, no canopy, will have plenty of fans and ventilation to keep cool. Your right though, the openings could be bigger....not for concern of heat/cracking but for ease of access. Oh well, to late now.
