I had a set and found them to be unacceptably noisy. I didn't like the motor noise of the dry side. My system has a basement sump, so there are no audible pumps, skimmers etc, so the sound of them was very noticeable. If your system isn't so quiet, or you have a different tolerance for noise, they may be fine.
