my lion is a great fish. I've only had one loin, maybe i got lucky but i have had no problems.
-my lion is 6yrs. old
-got him? at LFS
-eats frozen shrimp, scallops, fish, squid, octopus etc..
-i feed 2 times a week
-he gets along well with anything that doesn't fit in his mouth
-he is -/+ 11 in. long, 3in. when i got him
-it REALLY hurts if it stings you. (believe me, i know......OUCH!!!)
-great fish for beginner
Not that I'm an expert, but some pointers for the beginners:
-big tank, this fish will get BIG
-no goldfish
-a large selection of food
-if it fits in its mouth, it will be gone
-don't let it near your hands...OUCH
