That's why the folks in CMAS know him as "Dag" as in, "Dag, man, what's with that??"
These sand-born critters are pretty tough. I got a detritivore kit from Rob Sullivan (RC member, posts often) last year in the middle of winter, and you may recall that it was not exactly a balmy January we had last year in these parts.
When I took the bags out of the box, you could see them all teaming with critters.
This shouldn't be a problem...
