Man, I'd pull out that rock and cure it properly in a rubbermaid container or some other disposable container. That rock is going to spit out junk for a couple weeks. If you have the rock drilled and pinned, it should be no problem to re-do your aquascape. You are going to want to do 50% water changes every other day and siphon the bottom to get all the crap that comes out of those rocks, especially if you didn't rinse them before hand. I wouldn't want to start off a new tank this way. It's not worth the hassle of trying to filter that water. Get rid of it all, rinse the rocks, and start anew with a cure would be my advice.
