It should have a lifespan of 12-24 months. If it is a Bimac the only way to get it to live 2 years is with a chiller set to about 60 degrees. Since it is tank raised you can try to bug your LFS to find try and find out when it was born, but their supplier may not know either. You can't really tell age from size either, it varies with temperature and feeding schedule.
