The only salt mixes (that I know of) , that aren't deficient in mag, is Coralife and Oceanic. Please enlighten me if you know of another.

Calcium reactors have nothing to do with magnesium levels.

NSW is about 1290 ppm . Magnesium plays an important role in the balance of calcium and alkalinity.

benray, please give us all of your parameters and what test kits you use to get these figures. Also what salt mix you use and where do you keep your salinity at and how do you measure.

Then we will know why your sps are not doing well.
