Don't feel bad, all my bulkhead pipes leak some with salt creep. BTW the salt creep doesn't seal it especially in very humid FL.
My tanks in the garage though so it just doesn't matter. You can bet if it were in the house I probably would've had to redo it at least a half dozen times.
I think there's a plumber gene and believe me...I ain't got it!
