We've declared hyposalinity to be complete, and we're starting to bring sg back to normal in the quarantine tanks. The tang was suffering through some water quality issues this weekend. We did two 50% changes this weekend, which seemed to help. My theory is that the biowheel bacteria populations took a hit when it was off periodically during the storm. We decided it's probably in his best interest to get him back to normal levels and into the stable display tank. Any ich that was present should be taken care of by now.

Total time in hypo : 46 days (since 9/22)

If you recall, the tang showed ich spots for the first several days of hypo, then one or two persistent spots on his fins. I declared him clean visually on 10/3, which was 35 days ago. Based on the life cycle of cryptocarion, he was probably ok a few days before that.

Also, Christy and I have pretty much agreed to name the clowns Fred and Wilma, just as soon as they figure out who is who.
