Smoking in the same house as your kid is as stupid and irresponsible as exposing your kid to asbestos on purpose. Sure, we breathe a lot of crap and do unhealthy things in life, but why make it unnecessarily worse? There is no comparison between breathing secondhand smoke and playing video games.

In the car I personally don't think it makes as much of a difference as in your house. The exposure period is shorter, the window is probably open and you're all probably breathing fumes anyway, but it's still unnecessary.

It's not child abuse, it's uncaring stupidity for the sake of convenience. Not appreciating the health of your child is unforgivable.
