Paring seahorses that are syblings could have problems long term after a few generations but we have nt seen that here yet.

IMO it is best to get all the seahorses from the same place to minimize risk of exposing them to bacteria's they have no previous resistance to. Mainly vibrio. Most breeders will offer seahorses from different parents if requested.

If it was between keeping brothers and sisters or ordering from different sources, I'd keep the brothers and sisters together myself.
