According to Dr. Roy, the eyes do not regenerate. He also said that it is likely he would grow another attenae to replace the lost eye. Both of the expression pics above show his 'new' antennae fairly well.
He seems more cautious since losing half his viable eyes, but otherwise appears to be well-adjusted and 'happy.'
