Thats what happens...
The problem, is I've seen Tyree, or more often some of his fanboys, all over that hobbiest trying to discredit him. He'll get a frag from HobbiestX, and then as soon as his is grown out, start saying "HobbiestX's coral isnt the same as mine. Mine has bluer tips, his is an imitator." The Tyree fanboys will then step in and back him up.
Its dishonest, and it fosters ill will.
