Are you against tying it into your main system, or just can't. If you go sump less just throw a seio in and maybe a hob fuge. Tom is just using the cpr bac pac's on some of his systems so that may be a decent skimmer to look at. The velocity pumps are supposed to be silent if you go with a sump or an eheim
