It's definately a recovering piece of coral. It is growing off of a skeleton that has 3 heads about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It covers half of one head. There is also a VERY tiny piece that managed to grow on a tiny skeleton and its about 3 mm wide. So far it's been looking healthy. The conditions definately aren't optimal for growth, but my other corals are growing well.

I was just wondering what the (realistic) optimal conditions are for helping it grow better/be healthier.
