white streak on tang? what is it?

Ok, this is my fault for not doing this sooner. But last night I was on the net looking to order a battery backup air pump, and messed around and didn't order one. Next thing I know there is a very bad storm come through, overturning trees and such (in S. IN.) So needless to say the electricity went out for 2 hours, and I had no back up.

I have a yellow tang, fasle perc, six line wrasse, firefish, and twin spot goby. All of them seemed fine, but when shinging a flashlight into the tank to check on them, I notcied I white stripe down the side of the tang on both sides, that had never been there before. I tried using a turkey bastor and squirt water around in the tank, I don't know if that done any good or not. But the other fish all seemed fine. Today the tang still has the white stripes, but he seems fine, and is eating well. Any idea what is wrong with him and what I can do about it?
I'm on my way now to order a back up air pump.

Thanks for any help
