I "lost" two ocellaris clownfish about 10 days ago. I had previously had two others disappear. I had had a coral beauty angel fish go in the tank and after two days I never saw him/her again. I was certain it was the Sally Lightfoot Crab. I still think that is true. I set out to catch the Sally Lightfoot Crab. Nothing worked. Tonight for some reason I was looking into the overflow at the back of my bowfront tank and holy cow. There was one clown fish swimming laps in the overflow. I worked for about two hours trying to catch him to return him to the front tank. During the two hours, I saw a missing shrimp and at the very end I saw my buddy the Sally Lightfoot Crab. This salt water tank stuff is a continual education. Check your overflow for lost fish, etc. Who knows.
