Since we are doing the DIY fish food, I kinda have sort a request. To be curtious to fellow fish-goers the ingredients that I am going to bring in order to assist in the food making will be thawed and rinsed with fresh RO/DI water and then frozen again before I bring it to johns house. I am doing this to ensure that I remove as much phosphte/nitrate bound particles that may cause an ugly algae bloom. Is anyone going to do the same?
