the female is practically black, the males red, just not in that picture. the female usually always the darker one.
I also think theres different kinds. like mine have that perfect lump in the middle stripe (i bought them at way different times) but some yellows have thinner lines sometimes messy lines that seem brighter (to me anyway)
My female is a beast. i dont have a ruler on hand but when shes pregnant her width alone is an inch or more.
