a 40gallon i just setup had finished cycling then i tested copper and it was in there, dont know how thought so i decided to restart the whole tank sell the rock, dump the sand and clean all equpment and reuse.

How long will i need to cleaner equipment for? i will be using vinegar and water

How much vinegar to how much water will i need?

Will the copper still be in the tank somewhere if i do all this?

Im thinking of going barebottom and see how it turns out.

What will i need to put on the bottom of the tank as there wont be any sand?

Will i need to replace any equipment, i have:

Koralia 1 Powerhead- will be getting a 2 to add to it.
Sea Clone Skimmer - Modified works great
HOB filter - Switching to HOB refugium tank isnt drilled
Visitherm 150w Heater.
