Not sure how the larger Aqua-C work, I do have the EV- 180 on my tank and it works well and easy to adjust and service. Main thing is- like these guys are sayin' - do not skimp on the skimmmer! I would recomend buying a larger rated skimmer for the size of your tank and bio load. My EV-180 for instance, is on a 50 gallon tank and is rated for much more than that.
