Thanks Greg, that certainly makes sense. I really like the looks of those cone skimmers. I bet they are a lot bigger in real life than they appear in the pictures. I was looking at the dimensions, man, they must be big, in a good way! One thing I like is it appears the bubbles start very low in the skimmer - in my H&S they start darn near 1/2 way up. Seems to be inefficient to me.
Anyway, I'd love to see it running when you get it going. I'd bring the beer!
