He's talking about the tv show "Lost",( apparently they don't have capitol letters over there either).
"Doing his nut in", means she's giving him a headache.
Finding out "Lost" wasn't cancelled seemed to make her very happy.
I surmise what we all thought was going on before, is now!!!!!
