Those bulkhead boxes are intriguing. Anyone used one of them? What's the noise like? They have a nice video but then play noxious music over it all.

So you're advocating what? Holes thru the tank bottom with stand pipes and inverted elbows (sound remediation) ?
Two pieces of glass one from the back one from the side siliconed at the junction?
I really need my overflows to be fully on the sides and the returns on the sides too since I will have zero access to the rear of the tank (ever).
I was thinking 2/3s of the side,(of a 24" deep), being a box I could make out of plexy and bulkhead on thru the side. And the return coming in the front 1/3 of the side. Same with the closed system.
Thoughts?
