Question New Red Sea Max set up

I just set up my sons new red sea max, I used to have saltwater tanks when I was a kid but with all these new gadgets I consider me a newbie again.

I used The red sea salt that came with the tank start up kit and brewed it for 4 days prior to xmas in a new trash can in my bathroom with alot of aeration. When we transfered the water to the tank xmas day we found that it seems like salt is dropping out of the water to the bottom of the tank. The provided hydrometer says the salinity is right at the level but on the low side. I guess the question is if the salinity is on the low side why is the salt dropping out to the bottom is this normal? TBS is shipping out part one of my package today and I want to make sure I dont need to make any adjustments....

The Red Sea Max is awesome... Just a few micro bubbles that should disapate in time!!!
