I have a question... I'm setting up a new 50G+20G sump BB tank, and this thread has convinced me to try a GFO reactor. I'm using almost entirely dry rock from marcorocks, as soon as I get it aquascaped the way I like it and buy an overflow I'll put water in the tank and start the cycle.
In this scenario, would it be useful to run the GFO reactor from the very beginning (while the rock is cycling), or can I hold off on buying it until the tank becomes established? Budgets are tight, so unfortunately I can't buy all of the tank components at once
I will be running a chaeto refugium and remote DSB as well.
