Personally I would tell the store owner but I find that in general when you give any kind of criticism or anything negative even if its beneficial to the store, they generally blow you off (because they don't want other potential customers to hear it) or they return negativity in kind.

I've told 3 different vendors about rb/aefw/nudis. They were all very appreciative, and took measures right away.
